My guess is that it is EISA, since it uses S3 911 chipset with VRAM. All of the OPTi local bus cards I've seen so far use ET4000AX with DRAM. However, this card is not in the TH99 database, so you're taking a gamble plugging into an EISA board unless you know for certain what it is. Did you look up …

here. Now, i have tweaked board with 486SLC2-50, a bit better performance. It is not great jump from SLC33 to SLC2-50. I believe: Jump to SLC-40 is better.

Upper card... you can dump ROM. (ROM Dump by TL866 and consorte, NSSI-Dump or other solution -> doesn't work, because we need shadowed memory area of ROM) But i don't believe, that it works. It is worth to try. Thanks Matt

ROM from Mach32 VRAM doesn't work on Mach32 DRAM... DRAM-ROM dump on last site is not complete (because shadowed area isn't dumped ) 🙁

Motherboard problem ? Yes.Pleas look their capacitor near CPU Socket... many capacitor is bulged. Pleas solve this problem at first. And pleas put new capacitor exaktly on bottom of PCB (parasite induction by long leg )

Congrat to your repair. How did the S3 chip pin was bad? Was it bent/pulled from PCB pad by mechanical crash or just bad contact without any visible mechanical distortion? Sometimes TQFP chips soldering went broken, probably due to PCB bend that cause pin lift above PCB pad a littel bit. I repaired …
