yep pin 1 is aligned. using msinput\mouse.exe /f hardware is an old logitech serial mouse

The 9-pin ribbon cable has a piece of plastic in the 10th pin female pin hole, so I'd have to bore that out somehow. Any suggestions?

I installed the tool and ran its setup (CASSIST.EXE), which stated that I needed to run ICU to specify the sound card's resources. ICU did not list the card anywhere. Sure, no problem. Just tell me where. I successfully flashed the BIOS to the G26-2LB version using the EXE I linked. Not much appears to have changed except the BIOS string on POST 🙁
