I think you could be right, I remember getting static once when unplugging the card from a Radeon 9550 output. Although it kept working fine for sometime after. I read some development boards with the Spartan 6 have had the same issue, reprogramming worked for them.

The card used to work fine. Had a few lockups in the system it was running in before I pulled the card. Now part of the Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA overheats straight away on boot and is burning the FPGA plastic like cover if left on for more then 10 seconds. Just wondered if someone else ever had a …

Since i just got a Tualatin system going and have the cards to hand, I'll do a test tomorrow with an Ark2000 for competition. Any particular game to test? Quake and Duke Nukem seem to be favourites. Wonder if I have to level the MDRAM as the ET6100 is fully loaded at 4MB and the ET6000 at 2MB. They …
