Re: BTC 1853/1855 jumpers question

I recently bought a similar card with a jumper in one of those positions, and was getting no audio out. I traced the header and found they're connected to pins on the ES1868F meant for hardware buttons for volume up/down/mute. They're shared with pins that read the ISA PNP EEPROM which is the nearby …

Re: Sick voodoo 1 card

Looks weird The main chip just desoldered itself off the board Yep I had to resolder a bunch of pins on my maxi gamer 3d. I suspect they were never soldered in the first place, just they made enough contact with the pads that it worked for a while. Hmm, interesting. I pulled the larger heatsink off …

Re: Sick voodoo 1 card

Thanks for the tip! I added some spare heatsinks with double-sided thermal tape, and pointed a case fan at them. Re: Show us your custom Physical mt32-pi Builds

Re: Show us your custom Physical mt32-pi Builds

First time posting on Vogons, I normally hang out on the Overclockers Australia forums. Anyway, I made a 3D-printed 50%-scale MT32 for mt32-pi, and some breakout PCBs for the front and rear panels, which I call the Minisynth 32: https://github.com/grantek/minisynth32 OCAU thread . I'm still spending …
