When you start Windows with nothing loaded in the startup are you able to open dos prompt? If you can then the issue has to do with what youre doing and probably not how windows is set up.

I'm on the hunt for a new psu that can do Athlon XPs too. There used to be a modernish Corsair psu model starting with V something but it got discontinued. I saw some unbranded ones on fleabay stating a high 5V rail but their quality could be anything.

The DIL32 socket was only used / populated, when the chip was supposed to be replacable by the end user without soldering. Make sure to get one with its own SCSI BIOS so you can boot from it. Adaptec has drivers for DOS and most older versions of Windows, as well as various UNIX flavours. Seems Yamaha have finally removed the drivers for their old soundcards from https://device.yamaha.com/en/lsi/download/ as they all come up not found and unable to be downloaded. Anyone have a mirror of these exact files? Vogondrivers has some but not all of them.

It can format it to 720k or 1.44mb if you mod it with a extra hole. (unless you have a ps/2 drive and you dont need to mod it)
