How's the Asus PA248QV for XP gaming doing? I was thinking of getting a 16:10 for my upcoming more powerful XP build (currently have an EIZO S2133BK) to stretch its legs into 1920x1200. I started looking at used 16:10 displays but then saw the PA248QV new is pretty reasonable.

Have you tried disabling the USB ports in the BIOS, then letting the SB16 emulation take IRQ 5, and then re-enabling the USB ports? This musical chairs of IRQ's has worked for me on 2 systems now.

The ASRock 775i65G is a really nice mATX board with AGP. It might also be easier/cheaper to find than a more sought after Asus.

No, but I still have my US Robotics Courier V. Everything (along with its original retail box!) that I can't bring myself to get rid of. I'm never gonna use it for anything again, but the sentimentality of its trusty service over the course of the 90s brings a smile to my face.
