I think Gearbox is in a little bit of a pinch because obviously they don't want this stuff out, but this is the most positive people have been about a new Duke Nukem thing in a while so it can only be good for a franchise they own.

The biggest one is likely Witcher 3 for me. People say it's one of the best games ever but I felt me completing the game was just a waste of time. Boring combat, the open world not offering anything of interest. Some of the quests were mildly interesting but that's about it.

It's an Asus TUSL2-C with Intel 815EP chipset. The USB 2.0 card is an Adaptec AUA-4000C. Honestly with the way it behaves (freezes the system anytime it's asked to do anything) I wouldn't rule out a defective card.

Been trying a bunch of drivers yesterday and I didn't get anywhere unfortunately. It either freezes the PC immediately or some other card stops working and the PC starts freezing later on. I think I'll just give up and use network shares, since they are pretty much the same speed.

Today I received a big box copy of Quake 3 Arena, which completes the FPS trifecta. (UT99, Half-Life and Quake 3 Arena). Acquiring old PC games can be challenging in Germany because there are mostly censored versions around or versions with pretty rancid dubs.

A V3 3000 is probably the smartest choice and can be acquired relatively cheaply. That being said, I like the way games look on the Voodoo 2 and SLI is just cool. I'd suggest just setting up a notification for Voodoo on eBay or something and looking if something with a reasonable price pops up.
