Strangley enough dosbox does list "Fireface 800 MIDI" but the listing I need is "Fireface 800 MIDI (GSIF low latency)", so it would appear that windows is aware of the device, it's just not including the (GSIF low latency) identification which is the listing provided to my software sampler. cheers …

I have tried all the permutations I could think of, and also tried yours again, thanks, but no joy. If I knew where dosbox collates midi, perhaps I could also find "Fireface 800 midi (GSIF low latency ) and point it to dosbox. About to search the computer. cheers Bryan

hi, i am happy with the size of my applications window under dosbox, but I would like it to always open in a fixed position on the display. i presume this is x and y axis, so is there a way to lock that in the Dosbox config file, or is it something i have to address with the video card? Thanks …
