🤣. I actually can't fix my shutdown issue no matter what I try. It runs scandisk every single time no matter what. That's literally the only thing I wish I could fix. I think it just really hates a SSD on a startech adapter.

If you can afford the shipping, this case is pretty good. I just bought one and I really like it. My only issue is that the holes on my gotek don't line up with the 3.5" drive bay (a real floppy drive fits just fine). https://www.ebay.com/itm/175492093873 Prices for all of this stuff are insane.

I've been using Gotek floppy emulators exclusively on my test bench. I tried moving one into a real case today and found that the screw holes are at a level that won't work with my case. My real floppy drives line up just fine. Anyone else ever have this problem?

I don't think there's anything on the motherboard between the AGP slot and the PCI slot that are heat sensitive. I looked at my stock Geforce 2 heatsink orientation and it's vertical like this. The air coming off this heatsink is probably 35C-40C, so I don't think it matters too much.
