I'll start ignoring you now. You just have nothing to say, that's all. You can argue, make excuses and find fault with words as much as you like without accepting the essence at all, but facts are stubborn things. You are wasting not only your personal time, but also the time of those who make …

In any case, if you choose to support an initially flawed project, passing it off as original and claiming that it is stable, this characterizes you quite well. Your consumers are naive users of second-rate software. It is your choice and the choice of these users. I don't dare judge.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man. Feel free to post any issues or bugs in GitHub. It is a fact. I worked with the code and I know what I'm talking about. Developers of MS Excel probably also say that its code is anything but clean - heck, you can probably say that of 90% …

I also did a double fog. Darker fog for unexplored areas, lighter fog for explored ones. This approach is used in Starcraft 2 and looks very modern, I would even say fantastic in Dune 2. A regrowing (Warcraft-style) shroud is already in the game and has been for 12 years . The option is called "Fog …

just wondering why you don't allow uncovering the map as an option You mean having the whole map uncovered from the beginning? Well, having to unveil the map is a quasi standard gameplay mechanic for this RTS genre. Also, I don't want to change gameplay too much. I could look into adding it as an …

I decided to work closely on restoring the original behavior in 1oom, combining it with the fixes from my fork. In order not to interfere with people testing the game, I started posting conservative test releases focusing on overall quality. Latest pre-release: https://github.com/1oom-fork/1oom/ …

Around 2015, when I first played Master of Orion, it was a modified version . I would not be able to tell what is original behavior By the way, this patch has lost some value since Kilgore T.M. Replicant published a complete transcript of the disassembled code of Master of Orion 1993 along with the …

I have no way of and am not interested in doing such an enormous rewrite. The game as it is seems very stable and performant to me, also resolution and scaling works without problems imho. The main problem is that you can't revert to the vanilla state of the game. I think the project is dead since …

In my opinion, the approach to implementing high resolution in 1oom is much cleaner than in Dune Dynasty. It would be better to implement the ideas of the author of Dune Dynasty from scratch on the basis of modern Open Dune without ugly code

Wow. I'm impressed. Thanks for your work guys Also: I just fixed important issues in the Dos version of 1oom and it needs to be tested because I have some improvements for the SDL2 version, but I don't have much time for everything. Thanks for dropping by. Is that fix included in your 1oom release …
