The 74LVC2G74 chip (used as a clock divider to convert CLK2 to CLK) may allow 486DX, 586, POD cpus to work as well, but they should have a separate interposer design. I'm up to 10 pins that needs jumpering to suit them... They have a legacy FERR/ERROR output pin, and an IGNNE pin. So there's …

As soon as I saw them I thought "okay this is possible now". Redesigned a lot of the board to accomodate the large pins. The pins are rounded and high quality so the connection should be good.

Another way of looking at it... If your hardware can't run what you want as well anymore, its "classic". Eg. Last 10 years. If your hardware can't run even a modern up to date web browser, it's "retro". Eg. 15+ years ago.

The technical recommended limit is ~85C, and the max physical temperature before damage occurs is ~110C. Heatsinks are meant to store heat but they can't actually take it away without strong air flow. If you can confirm it runs under 85C at constant full load in summer.. then it's fine

Do you have the manual for it, for jumper settings? Some cards do have an IRQ (interrupt request) selection in jumper settings. An interrupt error is mentioned in the screen shots. Any BIOS IRQ settings? Any IRQ conflicts with other cards?

Re-insert all socketed chips a few times before you do anything else. Especially the addon card above the RAM Slight oxidisation on memory chips/conncetors is the number 1 causes of failure than anything else

I need to actually check under IC's near the battery corrosion, there's some chips/lines there connected to the ISA bus Checked jumpers many times and matched them to the manual & other boards
