Thanks for the help. Saved me from buying a Tualatin and not being able to use it. I think ill have to repurpose the pc for early 2000 games that my V2SLi rig is not running great. So the 9250 is better or more suited for this rig compared to Zotac 6200A? Any sugestions on the sound card? - Audigy 2 …

Damn, i really wanted a Tualatin in this rig, guess im stuck with Coppermine 1000Mhz. The parhelia is longer, about 18cm so its on the edge if I can fit it in the case or not. It showed allot of errors... Ive stopped it after a few minutes. No difference when squeezing. I think its SGRAM. Ive uploaded a pic of the card like mine. Either way, if its not software related... its no use for me. I cant really solder anything that is that small and fine.

No issues so far with resources. The only issue that I have is with the voodoo2 cards. The cards are not matched, one is Helios other is Diamond so im using fastv2 drivers. Some good ideas to fill that black DVD slot. Yes, my idea is to run 2 sound cards in the system, ill def keep the SB live. but it does give you a excuse to fill that slot if thats what your looking for. So true... Interesting... Maybe there was a later BIOS update (which you already have) which enabled higher CPU speeds. I have a similar motherboard on the same 440BX chipset running at Pentium III 700 MHz Coppermine. If your BIOS allows multiplier of 8x I'd say there's a good chance a Coppermine would work - …

Needing an ISA sound card is more for DOS compatibility. Personally, if you're staying with just Windows and you want to remain period correct - I'd just keep your Live! so you can take advantage of the few EAX 1/2 games out there. Thanks for the answers.
