Basically.. Yeah In general if you could afford it you put the operating system on one hard drive and all other stuff on another as you tend to read from one and write to the other thus saving (admittedly milliseconds) time. It was probably not very useful.... There was also a trick of doing this …

I remember that tip as well! Also, if you were lucky to have 2 hard drives setting those parameters to the other drive could sped things up a bit...

A lot of US sites block /hid content from EU users because of the GDPR laws (laws that a site has to tell you what they sniff of your data before you use the site). The claim compliance it too tough. IMHO it is greed as solutions have been around for almost 5 years...

I went Voodoo2 SLI as it seemed to be able to act like a a Voodoo 1 good enough for my games and had good enough Glide support for the later games as well. It frees you up to use any graphic card you want for more modern stuff

I connected my DVD player's Component up to a TV that had VGA in and it works fine. It was a fairly cheap converter so apart from making sure I used video cables instead of audio/cinch cables I am not sure of any magic... I had to make some settings on the DVD player and TV though... telling it …

'76 car graphics are ok to good... it's the rest that is a bit too samey and junky/clunky... the smoke trails of the missiles are 2D pretty much for example... imagine the bumpers actually having reflecting chrome!!!

If remastered only means changing /updating the graphics: Interstate '76 If you can fix some gameplay issues: MechWarrior 2 (all flavors) Interstate '82
