It's an old ...... old Asus Xonar STX I . Still makes fantastic sound. I don't think it's an actual problem though. When I opened the driver control panel for it and toggled a couple of settings, Dosbox/RR ICRII started working with it too. I think was likely an artifact of the Windows upgrade …

Could you zip up your logs and attach them in your reply? Also which version of Windows is this running on. My Apologies. It seems to be something with my sound card driver. When I switched to Nvidia HDMI sound (monitor) it works without issue. I should have thought to check that before asking here …

sb.exe utility has wrong algorithm for finding executable headers. Instead of finding LE header at offset 0x28C9C, it finds what it thinks is a LC header (but it's not) at offset 0x7A35B. You must unbind the linear executable manually, then you can bind it (using sb.exe) to dos32a. Here is my …

The second exe is a BW (watcom exp) that for some weird reason doesn't work when stripped. It should work because dos/4g can run them, but in this case it isn't. It isn't a pe/coff as I thought, that was a bug in my header parser. Does anyone know if there's any documentation for watcom exp binary …
