Update it turned out to be an IBM ThinkCentre A52 not an M52 got most of the drivers working gonna try the BIOS soon

It really depends on what you’re gonna use it for, the one with 8GB Ram wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the extra ram without having WinXP x64 Edition installed as 32-bit OS/Systems can only use up to 4GB Ram. Update, Swapped out the old 310W PSU for a more Modern 600W performance one but yeah the old one was definitely close to death

despite the random dust bunnies here and there it seems it's in very good condition and seems the fan seems to be fine seems I just need to figure out drivers and RAM as Lenovo doesn't offer XP x64 driver even though they allow you to select it in the OS List

well it seems to remain fine if I keep it plugged in? I examined it further and noticed that this PC is in very good shape dispite being left in a goodwill. which is very suspicious or lucky. idk which.

Seems okay for now fan seems to be fine for now but duly noted will get a new fan when I can as well as a new CR2032 battery……… oh I forgot to mention when I went to replace it the holder piece came off

it has a Made for Microsoft Windows XP sticker on the front of the case so I assume thats what it originally came with it also has a 90% in-tact OEM-Product-Key Sticker on it's side as the product key and WinXP version is still completely legible.
