Stonekeep - Patch 1.2

I'm looking for the 1.2 patch for Stonekeep, and I can't find it. Interplay's self-support section for Stonekeep is down, and all the sites Google returns either don't have a patch or are in a different language. Anyone have an alternative source for the patch?

Re: Shadow Warrior in VESA modes results in corrupted graphics

in DOS
Yep, I tried NOLFB. Shadow Warrior doesn't crash like it does when I don't use nolfb. I've also used cli2nop (although, I don't think that has anything to do with VESA) and the sound is pretty good. I've attached a screenshot of the issue. Edit:// Here's a screenshot: http://home.earthlink.net/~ …

Re: Shadow Warrior in VESA modes results in corrupted graphics

I having the exact same issue. I've also tried AXVGA, vesafix, etc., none of them worked for me. I pretty much tried everything ezekiel2517 tried, in addition to the VESA i/o fixes (or something like that). My specs: Radeon 9800pro (cat 5.3) Audigy Gamer MSI KT6 Delta w/ Athlon XP 2100+ 512 Megs of …

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
My usb mouse wont work in dos. I'd also like to figure out why this is happening to the desktop (it didn't happen before). It only seems to happen with build games so far (doesn't happen when I run UW or stonekeep).

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
I finally broke down and did a winxp/win98 dual boot. Everything works fine until I get to the desktop. At which point everything looks garbled. It get's worse as windows has to redraw stuff (opening and closing menus, minimizing windows, etc.). Here's a screenshot: http://home.earthlink.net/~ …

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
Well, the crackeling is a little less noticeable now for whatever reason. Here's what I did: -I tried running the game now without patching it with CLI2NOP and it ran slower than before (don't think this is what made it slow). -I went to my VDMsound shortcut for blood and unchecked "Cap DOS Timer …

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
Sorry to dig this sucker up but I've gotten really close to getting Blood working decently. The only problem left is an annoying crackling during sound effects and music. It makes it hard to hear anything. Does anyone know why this happens? Here's what I've done so far: -Turn Win95 compatibility …

Re: Stonekeep

I recall there being a show stopper bug later in the game that needs the patch to be fixed. I've run into it everytime I've played the game and I've needed the patch each time.

Re: Duke 3d Atomic Edition

Yes BUILD games have their problems but... Using the latest CVS build i've had excellent time playing Duke3d. I haven't tried Blood yet. And i did play a little bit of Shadow Warrior. It's a little jerky still but it works quite well. Ieremiou Strangely enough, Duke Nukem 3d worked just fine with …

Re: Blood

Yep getting the same video pauses as yourself, if you turn off all features and sound these are reduced. The main reason tho is blood requires at least pentium 75. Dosbox can reach approx 486DX 100 currently, give this one some time. Yep, did that when I tried to run it with WinXP/VDMsound. It …

Blood

I was looking through the game compatibility list at Dosbox.com and I saw that someone got Blood to run under dosbox. When I try to run Blood under dosbox, it doesn't quite work. It takes awhile to get through all the title images (with the publisher and whatnot) and when it gets to the blood intro …

Nicht Sehr Gut wrote: Hrmmm. This still doesn't seem right. You shouldn't have needed CLI2Nop. Keep an eye out for other titles that work properly on other systems, but not on yours... What exactly does CLI2Nop do anyway?

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
The sound's ok, it's just the video that's too slow. I've tried lowering the resolution to 320x200 and I get this strange flashy thing going up and down the menus. I wish I could get a screeny of it to show you. The next resolution up (320x400 I belive) gives me this wierd split screen effect.

Re: Blood problems

in DOS
Thanks snover, it works. It's a bit choppy, but it works! Do you know of any way to speed it up a tad? It's hard to play the game this way. If not, no problem. I'm just glad it works.

Blood problems
