On another machine with some other (mostly Adaptec PCI) HBAs, I could at least mount the virtual drive under Linux and see the filesystem, but if I tried to use 'dd' to copy the entire virtual disk to /dev/null, FreeBSD started dumping out errors and the Linux system would hang.
