Follow the other people's advice if you want the image to cover the full screen. Keep in mind though that the reason you have the black bars is because right now it's NOT stretching the image out of proportion.

Not a bug, DOS games are typically 4:3, that res is 5:4, so that's your monitor behaving and not stretching the image out.

Why don't you port it yourself? It's an open source project. Granted the system will almost surely not have the power to do it, no clue if it's god an SDL port, and that resolution isn't high enough for mostdos games by far, and is also by far the wrong aspect ratio.

I'd highly advise you try to look for a precompiled binary then honestly. A gui you're not gonna get. You can try this one, it's a front end and binary in one and I think it'll work in 10.2 http://web.jet.es/guilly/slouc/software_petitdosbox.html

Compile it yourself. The problem is that the one you downloaded is meant for 10.3+. You should be able to compile it yourself or find another one compiledto work on 10.2.

The file will be whereever you ran dosbox from in the terminal. Though looking at how many problems you're already having I highly recommend one of the many good front ends.

Okay, first off, put that back. mount C C:\DOS\CDrive mount D D:\ -t cdrom Is correct if D:\ is your CDROM drive, you do NOT want to try mounting both to C. What you need to change is the "C:\DOS\CDrive" part. You want that to be whatever folder you have your DOS games installed to.
