Played through entire Chapter 1, aside from a few graphical glitches when changing locations (mostly through the office rotating door), and one game freeze (which I could not duplicate), game seems to be working like a charm! Will keep on testing this till I finish the game. Thanks again!

Yup, game screen looks and play great, menu screen may still have a glitch (or it could be the image itself, need to test on real dos to make sure), but it works and doesn't detract anything anyway. I'll give it a play in the upcoming week and try to finish the game to see if it's stable. Thanks!!! …

Tried different cores and also used loadfix and played with available memory (8, 16, 32), seems like changing the core doesn't create any difference, changing memory (either with loadfix or in conf file) gets different garbled screen, but still garbled... Anything else I can try?

Well, after a small chase of a dll called "curses.dll" I got dosbox running. The intro played great all the way through, but when it got to the game itself the game screen was rendered badly (top portion, bottom portion and hotspots however are fine), and clicking on various hotspots gave the wrong …

As far as I know B.A.T. 2 CD doesn't run on DOSBox (though the floppy version runs fine). I'll play around with it some more soon and see if I can come up with some sort of solution...

If you're getting problems you should try playing with ScummVM, the new 0.8.2 version plays ITE as well, I think it should also support the German version (though I'm not sure).

Could you be more specific about "Nothing"? Do you get some error? Does DOSBox freeze (on a picture or black screen), does it return you to the prompt?

If cdrom is mounted correctly check the install.bat (open it in a simple editor) and see if it uses xcopy somewhere in there. xcopy is not supported out of the box in DOSBox, you'll either have to do an install outside of DOSBox, or find a workaround from within...
