OK, now I feel foolish (X 2). I missed that about VPC not being 3D enabled, and discovered that Black & White *is* compatible with Windows 7. My bad. Thanks for the "heads up." It's appreciated.

I just tried installing and running Black & White on a Virtual PC running Windows 98 SE. All I get is the splash logo and nothing else. The Task Manager doesn't show that it's not responding, but ... well, it isn't. I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting this one ...

And, that (as they say) is that. Thanks again, folks. I got Win95 up and running in DOSBox ... I just had to follow the instructions ... (what an amazing concept!). Everything appears to be working just fine (so far). I'll open a new thread if I run into any additional problems.

Thanks for the link, but now I have a different problem: DOSBox wants all of the details of the virtual HD (cylinders, heads, etc.) - how can I get all of this from an image? (I realize this may be answered somewhere else, and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction ... )
