Re: Moderator violating Community Standards

Suddenly, I hope I have never pushed people out of the scenes, unless the human being was either LGBT phobic or racist. I have edited quite a few posts. During the years, because I felt it was not fun reading some of my ramblings. But at the same time, I stand by the posts I have written. I will not …

Is that the early CD-ROM interactive movie game with dinosaurs? I was always curious about it, never played though.. It was indeed a point and …

Re: Collection/organization software

vetz, since you mentioned AcdSee , could XnViewMP be used ? Please tell me, if I am out of my league. I mentioned Libre Office, and when it was Open Office, before it was bought out and it was split into Libre Office and all that jazz, there you could make your own website through it, hence the …

Much HaikuOS much? ;-) ;-) I have never played around with either BeOS or the open source OS known as Haiku OS. But I just had a feeling of poetry, so I made a haiku out of my post. And I did abide by …

Re: Do you keep your retro rigs offline?

The reason why I made that post, is because in a former thread (which was locked of reasons I can not remember), there I mentioned basically the same solution to the online security stuff, when it came to old machines and retro etc. To me it just boils down to security, not whether or not it is an …

Re: Do you keep your retro rigs offline?

I am thinking this option, just as an idea. Which I have mentioned before, run a linux powered machine as a firewall/router. And perhaps then also have a real time virus scanning engine running (with access to the network of retro computers) as an example ESET NOD32, and ESET does have an antivirus …
