Damn... I tried to install SP2 but it refused to install because newer SP3 has installed. I didn't let SP3 setup create backup files so I cannot uninstall SP# any way. I have the same issue on newer nVidia VGAs starting 6600GT, 7300GT and 7600GS. This problem is probably present on 5xxx and all later cards. It doesn't matter who manufactured your VGA card because they mostly use nVidia reference BIOS with slightly modification to timings. I was talking about it …

#9 made cool cards, I still have #9 Imagine 128 - first 128bit 2D accelerator. It has onboard separated Cirrus VGA chip (can be disabled by jumper) and big Imagine128 chip, 175MHz RAMDAC and 4MB VRAM. But supported only VBE 1.2 quite old card I think 1994
