if this is a windows-only gaming pc then go for a SBLIVE. In my thread about the waveforce card there is a chart with some benchmarks, sblive is better than all mentioned cards....

But amibay is way worse than ebay price-wise! Not to mention really focused on homecomputer stuff. Otherwise it's indeed a nice plattform and mods there usually are careful about people getting stuff on there for cheap only to resell it for a quick $$$ LOL what? when did amibay went worse than eBay …

Had a 256MB 5600 card back then... worked fine for me 😜 , my next upgrade was a 8800GTX , so as you can see I kept it for some time 🤣

heh you are making the same mistake as I did... sound input/output is from the midi/joystick port , not the middle circular one...! awesome post patrioth!!! I have some 8-bit ide/floppy controllers , will these work for you? I can gift you a couple... I have no experience on XT machines though , but I can't see why it won't work... IIRC I also have an 8bit SCSI controller (it was inside an amiga2000 with a pc-emulator card) …
