when it crashs, there is a horrible sound going on 🙄 , it doesnt crash dosbox per se but it crashs back to normal dos with a loud beep

I tested screamer with the aep cvs from 22.02. after the stonekeep fix, but it still crashes only the error message has changes a bit , now it says: DYNX86:Can't run code in this page and the usally illegal reads and writes

i think the bug was present since the very beginning: since the dyncore supports screamer imo, but i ll test older version for you

The more videodetails are shown the higher the resolution is the more crashes the dynamic core, so it seems that the bug in the dyncore effects the emulation of the videorendering, it has nothing to do with the audioemulation

for screamer i think it isnt the case because, i have tested even without soundcard and the crashes seems to be still there. For magic Carpet 2, the bug is only present with highres not with lowres, so I dont think its caused by the game, but it could be

imo yes it crashes nearlly in every race, with dos4gw and dos32 its the same, in Magic carpet 2 it crashes more rearlly.

This bug seems only to happen in vesamode 640*480 but not in 320*240

I also have experienced random crashes with the dynamic core in Bleifuss aka screamer and Magic carpet 2, both with highres vesa, the crashes happend randomly but regulary, the higher the cycles the more often, DOS32A and dos4gw crashes both, bot dos32a seems to crash more often. Yeah, its true. Happened for me, too. Was the setupversion which makes it possible to use general midi for music and sb for sound at the same time. Also the soundsetting is saved inspite of the crash, so its not so bad.

on my athlon64 2400mhz, I get over 115000 cyvles with fallowing setting frameskip 1, output=opengl,core= dynamic
