You know what one of the bigger problems is? People don't come to this forum often enough, and then come to the conclusion that the program is too difficult. Maybe f-lock is silently dismissed by DosBox. Try activating f-lock in Windows (check with any windows app) and then start DosBox.

I had also problems with ct-voice.drv in a SB16 (too big so it leaved not enough memory free), so I hacked a SB-Pro ct-voice.drv to avoid detection of hardware. It worked but I lost the file due to hard disk failure.

I don't think so. Maybe Eidos got a license to distribute the software, but it's still copyrighted. I was only pointing where the synthetizer can be found. Final Fantasy VII and VIIII were pretty popular.

A Yamaha soft synthetizer can be found on install disc of Final Fantasy VII for PC. Also, you can find an update in the install disc of Final Fantasy VIII.

Also, does anybody knows if 2m is supported. 2m is a DOS program that formats floppys with more than 1.44 mb (i.e. 1.86 mb). Are 2m disks supported?

I've got two hard disks, but they're pretty loaded. And I've got three OS's in the same computer (DOS 6.22+Win XP+SuSE)... so I didn't want to make room for a fourth OS. My new computer has 1 Gb RAM (DDR400/Dual Channel), so I'm thinking about installing VMWare.
