But as Qbix said there's no reason to raise the limit if nothing uses it. Some games in MAME for DOS needs more than 64 Mb. Bubble Bobble Memories didn't work in MAME (DOS 6.22), but it doesn't make sense playing MAME for DOS in a DOS emulator... there are versions of MAME for any OS you can think …

At least AMD64 is able to execute 16-bit code, but Windows XP/2003 64 bit no. I mean... try AMD64/Win32 and your 16 bit code will probably work. Try AMD64/Win64 and your 16 bit code is wasted hard disk space. Thanks to M$.

I've got a Soundblaster AWE64 in my old PC. Maybe I could find the drivers and upload on internet. For MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 you will need some PNP utilities (CTCM, I think) to enable the card, and then it will work as a normal Sound Blaster (that means, you can configure Windows 3.x with SB16 …

Extreme Assault (Glide) runs smoothly with Windows XP, VDMSound and dgVoodoo glide wrapper. Dosbox doesn't emulate glide (not now, at least), so you can't play Glide games with it.

I've had a similar problem with Silver (spanish version). If you're trying the US version, you can find the update in www.patches-scrolls.de My problem was solved using a crack. Maybe you want try that.

Mine can do that (about 20€)... but I remember fake keys and keys presses not identified by programs (when pressed some keys at the same time). Can you explain more about "n-Key rollover"?

The good news: Yes, virtualization uses less CPU power and could boost Dosbox. The bad news: Virtualization only works in CPUs that support the same opcodes (i.e: an AMD can "virtualize" a 80x86... a PowerPC can't do that). If you want Dosbox to run in PowerPC, forget about virtualization.

I'm using a black Benq 6312-TA... formerly known as Acer 6312-TA. It's the best inexpensive keyboard money can get... much better than those membrane keyboards...

Try downloading KEYB from FreeDOS. Maybe a Keyb XX will get rid of your problems.

Too late... I already moved to Reiser4... By the way... I've installed a ext2fs plugin in Total Commander, and I can read files from my Reiser4. I've not tried to write... i don't want to kill my Linux... Are there any driver/plugin/program that guarantees file read/writing in ext3 or Reiser4?
