I don't know what the market is like where you live, but there are all kinds of inexpensive 19" - 21" crt monitors for sale here (Michigan, USA). If you have the desktop space, that's what I would do. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what I've done. And for the most part they're in good shape.

I've seen the same thing with my Win98SE gaming machine. I have a 300 mhz MMX PII with two 12 mb Voodoo 2 PCI cards in SLI and get nothing extra. Wow, I didn't know that there was a DOS version of Fallout. i bought a double jewel case set of Fallout and Fallout 2 a few years ago and it stated in the requirements that they were for Windows only and would not run in DOS. 😕

I absolutely needed the most up to date drivers (at the time) for my 7950GT. Otherwise Crysis was a garbeled mess. Now it runs very nicely.

EULAs haven't been totally ok'd in the court system. As a matter of fact in some jurisdictions some EULAs have been found illegal. If ebay wants to wimp out, let them. Like I said, there are plenty of ways to sell items outside of ebay.

This is a strawman statement. A drivers license is a government permission to be able to drive. It's not a private transaction for a product. I don't know about you, but I don't remember taking a test to use Windows or play a game.

ebay isn't the only way to sell items. I use craigslist to buy and sell plenty of things. I don't know if there is a local craigslist or an equivilent where you live, but I'm sure there are other ways for you to sell things. As far as EULA's go, technically it's illegal to re-sell newer pc games too …

What difference does it make if the manufacturer approves of something or not? You own the equipment outright. It's not leased or rented from them. Sony couldn't stop hackers, I'm sure Nintendo can't either.

This game does run in 32 bit color mode. I have no problem playing it on a Win 98SE machine. I did try it in XP and got nothing so I gave up on it. The machine I play on is a PII 300 MMX with 64 meg RAM and a 8 meg Matrox G100 card.
