So...should SVGA_S3 with scaler=normal3x LESS COU INTENSIVE than VGAONLY with scaler=none ? Aren't software filters like normal3x CPU-intensive? It's my last question. Thanks guys!

Hardware2x and hardware3x are scalars only present in Direct3d builds by Gulikoza. That's what they are. Do you mean svga_s3 mode isn't more intensive than VGAONLY? Can you point any unofficial 0.73 build with D3d and/or MT2 support, please? I can't find it... Thanks, DosFreak and Wd!

system try applets and spyware are the same shit for me in my ideal world. I don't need/want that: in linux & osx, I can mount on demand, without services running. Is that impossible in windows, then? I should've known by now... I can't expectc much from that retarded os. Thanks!

wd: you're totally wrong. I KNOW AND UNDERSTAND every little configuration parameter in dosbosx.cnf: I've used it for years now. If I set 8000 cycles/sec, jazz will INTERNALLY run fullspeed even in bonus stages, but my computer won't cope with the emulation. You sure get it, you'e a developer. :) …
