^ thanks ... I was curious about the "3d" part on it's name and how bad/primitive (?) it was.... It is very bad. And drivers are disaster. But card run at last whole Final reality - some scenes you wont recognize. Havent done game tests yet. Must show you also newest addition to Palcals collection …

I tested it on vga monitor, dont have cga one, only 2 probably hercules monochrome monitors - dont know if they will usefull for anything than little smoke from them if that program sets wrong frequency 😀.

I've run Voodoo 3 2000 PCI on 486, so this must be compatibility problem. You did? With Windows 95 and all? AFAIK Voodoo 3 drivers demanded some Pentium code and would crash on a 486. Ofc i did only in dos, just needed compare vlbus cards vs some PCI hightech on 486. No reason to use voodoo on 486, …

He doesn't have the Eagle II board anymore so he never got to really test it with his program, but he does remember a few details at least... seems like it's at least in the same league as those 4 boards already tested, so it would be a worthy addition to this thread in case someone captures an …

Yea, this one i got is with decoder chip on the card already. So theres vga, tvout and audio out. Scenic/MX2 is audio/video MPEG1 decoder.

I'm curious, what happened to this site? Probably couldn't afford to keep paying the hosting fees. I don't think the site carried advertising so the owner was paying for the bandwith out of his own pocket. We may log in to Vogons one day and find it gone when the hosting fees get to be too much. …

This year visit of local scrapyard was disappointment, because they moved all computer stuff away, but at last i found one medical device. So this graphic card does that nice waves, which shows hearts pulse 😀

Have few working isa/pci card from local scrapyard with rusty backplates. Theyre outside there on wind, rain, snow, sun and still they working. Some of them must been laying there at last 6 months, maybe even more. Old HW is very durable.

How about the X demo benchmark? To be able to not only compare the speed of the different cards but also the image quality produced, you can turn on the screenshot capture option. If you have this option turned on X will try to safe one screenshot per scene of the demo to the directory "c:\cap". …
