According to the manuals, yes, you need the terminator module. I have the same computer and indeed that configuration works.

As pointed by PC Hoarder Patrol you need CRIMM p# D8660-63001 (maybe CRIMM's are standard and you can use any "brand") and a terminitaror module (P# 5065-1281) at least to make the memory configuration correct. If I remember correctly the motherboard comes with 3 memory slots. The bottom slot can be used to connect a riser to use sdram memory. If the riser is not present, a special module must be connected in that module and it is not a regular RDRAM continuity module. Maybe that is your case?

SB 128 PCI is based on Ensoniq PCI, as far as I know... Wave-table works on DOS (pure DOS, not only DOS windows in Windows itself). And, as I said, in Windows I can select if use internal synth, or external (through joystick connector), and the CM-64 worked using this method... But I want to use it …

Problem is that this card does wavetable, and by default, the internal syntesizer is conected to the onboard MPU-401...

I think the title says it all... 😜 I want to use an external synthesizer (A CM-64), with this sound card. In windows I can select which one I want to use, but I don't see where I can do this in DOS... Any ideas?
