Whats a windows 2000 stock 16mb card? What you need to do is this: Identify this graphics card first. If needed, write down both cards next to eachother and do some searches in google to find out how they performed.

I reinstalled my genuine full version of 2000 many times due to h/d and mobo upgrades, never saw any sign of on-line activation. It doesn't de-activate when you never go online. Perhaps it's better to install 98 with only 512MB RAM installed. 9x has problems (or at least potential ones) with large amounts of memory. You can find lots of info about 9x on 'modern' hardware on www.msfn.org (one of my fav websites 😉 )
