You can use a patch with Sierra games to enable MPU-401 UART so you won't have to shell out for a Intelligent mode compatible card. http://queststudios.com/2010/utilities/mt32sb.zip

NVM, I found out about and used the mapper (using CTRL+F1) to fix it. Dunno why it does this on my laptop. EDIT: Notice the right SHIFT key still doesn't work in Dosbox, can't even map it either.
