Re: Question about guide

Isn't FreeSpace 2 a Windows only game? If so then you can't use DosBox with it..... IIRC, Freespace 2 isn't a 16bit game but the installer probably is, if so you probably have corrupted CONFIG.NT and AUTOEXEC.NT files. Copy Autoexec.NT and Config.NT from C:\Windows\Repair to C:\Windows\System32 and …

Re: nVIDIA ForceWare 7x.xx drivers + TNT2 WARNING

in Milliways
Yeah, Guru3D has been including modified .INF's with TNT support for some time now. Haven't tested the 60+ dets on TNT hardware but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Of course there's always the usual incompatibilies that newer dets bring to older hardware but that's another story.

Re: Need help with TR!

Re: MechWarrior 2 Multiplayer (NetMech95) Working!*

in Windows
On a sort of related note, Today I tried running Mech2: Mercs under Cedega, had to crack the CD copy protection since for some reason Cedega couldn't see the CD. After I did that the game still didn't work, same behavior as Windows 2000/XP. 🙁

As long as the OS does what it needs to do and does it well for your purposes that's all that matters. As for me..... I've been using MS OS's since MS-DOS 4 back in 1990. I've been using Linux off …

Re: Sound in Flashback

I'll think twice before asking for help in future Always a good idea. I sometimes try to think 3 or 4 times before asking for help........In fact we may want to put that in the Readme...of course when we RTFM the person it would be kinda redundant.....

Re: copy command

I'll test that out but I'd consider DOS 7 just as much DOS as DOS 6.2...moreso since it's the latest MS-DOS. I definetly don't consider overwriting files with 0byte ones a good thing....I could just be crazy tho.
