I have one, and i can say that, at least in Warcraft 2, it's better than AWE 64 Gold. But it's limited in use because it's not Sound Blaster compatible. Games must have proper support for it. It can always be paired with another card just for MPU401 General Midi (GM) output, and it sounds very nice …

Found another game that refuses to run... GODS. I know these are old DOS games... but it just shows that 2 different setups is the way to go.

I don't know how frequent these errors are, but OMF2097 only crashed once after 2 fights. It's too fast to play, but still i managed to do lots of fights without crashing the second time...

A ton of Sierra games also have issues initializing sound when your machine is too fast. Same goes for Dynamix games (Heart of China). Disabling Cache fixes this (tested) and it's even reproducible through DOSBox. So far I haven't found a game that doesn't load when L1 Cache is disabled even with …

I'm just wondering if you have any specific DOS games in mind for this? some mid-90's DOS games that were made in a particular way will give runtime 200 errors on systems that are too fast. I believe Duke Nukem 3D was one of these games. Fortunately there is a patch available for affected games. …

Personally I really like the Voodoo3's. Just remember the Voodoo3 PCI's can get pretty hot. I once tested one and the little VRM heatsink became too hot to touch even! You bet! It's damn hot, but the regulator works up to 125ºC, so it's ok... I know lol, but I guess it just bothered me a bit that …

No, I am running them on a windows95 computer non virtual machine running the above specs. When I try to adjust the windows display settings it says that my display driver is improperly configured.
