Solved, thank you anyway. Some guy on another forum suggested to run it with the /x parameter and it worked.

I can't get this game running in Windows XP. I've tried nearly everything, from Dosbox to VDMSound but it won't run. I've got a 3 GHZ Pentium with a Geforce 6200SE Turbocache and Windows XP as OS. What can i do?

In Daggerfall, I've solved the problem "Pagefault didn't correct table" simply by re-installing DosBox. Try. 😀

I haven't run into the invisible bug yet using VDMSound. I've even done the quest to join the thieves guild and have done a couple thieves guild quests. Maybe it's because I have it installed on a FAT32 partition? I saw someone say that could be a problem in another thread before, but I dunno. I …

There is a way to make System Shock working with XP without DosBox (there is a System Shock CD XP patch). Use the quick search to find it. I've used that way 😉

Remember that SS works also with Virtual PC. In my computer, with Dosbox, SS1 is TOO SLOW to play. Listen to me, use Virtual PC!! Have Fun!
