Well if that is the case, I just ordered two 64MB PC66 CL2 memory banks and see what the system will do with it if one is plugged in. Currently the banks I have are CL3, so I assume there would be some performance improvement.

What is the motherboard here? Can it actually cache 128MB of RAM? To be very honoust, It was the only sdr memory stick I had laying around. Well you could first try 800x600 on a single 12mb card. I dont even think one card is a bottleneck with this cpu.

It's a shame this motherboard cannot post at over 100mhz fsb with the L2 Cache on because fsb makes a huge difference. The 250mhz with 100fsb is not far off the 285mhz with 95fsb. Oh nice! Reinstalled win98SE with dx9.0c 2006 release. Tried Diamond and orchid drivers. Still the same result. Waiting for the Cd's to arrive a week ish from now.

I did a retest on win98, 9 pts shy of 1300pts in 3dmark99. I blame it to the minor differences in tests. Making the voodoo2 still the fastest. This one is done with a single card.

Mechwarrior 2 is a Glide 2.1.1 game, which is not out of the box compatible with the Voodoo2, but you can use the same variables in a batch file that is executed from within Windows and it will affect the game.
