Loving the green theme. Definitely needed a windowed case to show it all off as well. besides has better airflow right. Duel CPU, Rambus, Voodoo5, Vortex 2. man that gets you into quite a few little elite groups here. I'm not even a member of the last 2!

Re the GPU for Win98 your still to modern! the Geforce 4 Ti series is as late as you want to go, or for you the FX series as your stuck on PCI. For me AGP is the Win9x/WinXP crossover period. good at doing both but far from perfect for either. WinXP really likes PCIe, that way you can max out the driver settings like AA, AF, etc. Recently played GTA SA on a GF 590 and it looks really nice indeed

Got a similar setup. Ti4600 AGP Voodoo 3 2000 PCI. I do have the occasional game that did require disabling a card but for the most part AGP is the primary card so will play D3d games by default. Glide games obviously only work on the Voodoo Games that support both will let you specify which card/3D …

512MB should be ok as well but as always there are acceptations to the rule which is what you may have seen. All of this is preventive maintenance rather then necessity so there isn't a "correct" answer. Personally I just have a fan pointing at my V2's but if you already have the heatsinks I'd just go with them, add one to the RAMDAC if it makes you sleep better at night as it wont hurt.

Well floppy cables that support 2 drives are easy enough to get. if you hacked the bios I would expect it to work with a standard cable, but no idea how possible that is. Another easier option would be to use a USB 3.5 drive, but get if thats not the answer your looking for.

Nope, no AGP, that sucks. You'll take a performance hit being stuck on PCI but the FX may make up for it? That case is pretty much what every mid 90's PC's looked like where I grew up. Thats a good thing as I always liked it 😀 Not sure about spitting the "twins" though, Sure V2 SLI may not be needed, but its so sexy!
