Cyanoacrylate wil not melt the pcb. And is safe to use. It wi leave white stainsand residue, but it is universal for that type of glue.

In eastern europe, things moved a litle bit slower 😀 1996. 286-12 1997. 486 SX-33 1998. 486 DX2-66 1998. Pentium 133 1999. Pentium 166MMX 2000. Celeron 333 2001. Pentium lll 500 After that no DOS sound capability. So rest is history. Ok Athlon XP 3000 and Core2Duo 8400 were some of my favourites.

Problem occurs on computers with fast cpus and large memory. Replace WAR2.EXE and SETUP.EXE integrated DOS4GW with DOS32A.

Ideally i would use a Retro computer with a ISA sound card and game port, and a modern computer with PCI sound card and game port. If it would recive midi messages. Can a computer with a sound card and a MIDI gameport can be reversed to recive midi messages? Or maybe a MIDI2COM converter.... So i can connect two computers, one who sends midi messages, and one what emulates a music device. And what MIDI2USB cables to use with a Computer and with a Raspberry Pi? …

I think he meant that some computers will hold setting, even when battery is dead long ago, only time will reset. I have at least one Pentium 3 motherboard like that.

Dude, there were many formats, but come on, at least i am A DOS person, so RAR32(3.9) or RAR16(2.50), ARJ, ZIP, ZOO, ACE .... for me thank you 😀

Strangely i just finished Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness DOS Human missions I think 500th times, this game just does something for me.

Why do you guys use 7ZIP archive format? I always have to upack and repack them. ZIP is universal, ok it is old, and not so effective. RAR is new and effective, and it still has a RAR 32bit DOS extractor. But what the .... i do with a 7Z files :D Ok you can use HXDOS extender and Windows console …

Dos32a has those tools. You just automatically replace the stub. And if exe is compressed just use UNP. http://unp.bencastricum.nl
