Thx! I found another CGA emulator for Hercules I did not test "SimCGA", my favorite is "EMU", it works really good. But if the game changes back to Textmode (80) then this Emulator has issues. (The Text can not be read)

I can not replicate it, but it worked before, now I can't get it working. Win98se -> Outcast PC Game (Audio-CD) I used Deamon-Tools to mount the Audio CD-Image. If I start the game I can only hear the SFX but not the Audio-CD-Tracks mounted with Deamon-Tools. If I let the game run and go back to …

That does not work for me. For me the best is "EMU" and "EMU0" (Scanline), both are in my MDA.ZIP. Don't know what the other small com-files do, but executing the "EMU" leads back to dosprompt in lowres, after that most cga-games run and look quite good on mda. My retro-PC has not enough power to emulate gfx AND sound. If I could use a passthrough to the gus (Games, Demoscene-Stuff) the performance should be enough to play/run most of the stuff.

hm, I have the drivers installed on Win9x and the dosbox.conf is gus=true and the drivers are correct (260/7/7/7), but if I use it with the game (Epic Pinball) there is no sound out of the GUS, the sound comes out of the SB16.

There is defacto nothing that uses 640x200@16colors. Even a demoscene-product does not use it. really usefull for a small xt-computer like a "Schneider Euro-PC" or a "Tandy 1000 RL" 8Bit Version with an internal Card an a small metal case with PSU would be VERY usefull.
