But like i said, there have been no updates to mouseware in forever so there is nothing to firmware update even if there was one, which there is still no proof of. I can confirm that same hardware/software setup is working fine here. I'm pretty sure updating your device means it was updating your drivers, logitech just tends to say that in their installers. How many pins does it have? If the connector on it is 7-pin you don't need a dongle, the s-video cable will fit in it. If it's a 9-pin one you'll need the dongle.

If you check the link I gave it says it introduced gamma correct AA as well. Its just a small mistake anyway. It's from a review of the card that goes into detail of the AA modes.

I wouldn't go for any NV hardware that's older than G80 because that older hardware has quite inferior texture filtering and anti-aliasing quality. ATI's R5xx hardware is better too. R400 is as well but might not be fast enough for ya. G70 introduced transparency AA though. http://techreport.com/ …

I remember having that problem with x360ce, I think I fixed it by deleting the dll files in the x360ce directory. Don't worry, the program will just regenerate them.
