Yes, same happened to me on a AthlonXP 2800 + Quadro 2 pro(detonator 6.32) + PCX1. Try to reduce your fsb to 100 or 66, disable cpu to pci postwrite and use Agp 1x/2x without fastwrites or any of that fancy stuff

Same as title! I'm finally gonna buy an AWE32 but I don't know which Model no./revisions should I be looking at. I'd love to have a card that has true OPL3 and has a properly working Wavetable header 😁 Once again... Many thanks guys 😅

wow! yes, obviously raytracing is the future of graphics rendering. Lightning looks so fake today.. Would integrating an external dedicated chip for this task on newer generations graphics cards (a la transform & lightning like as back in the days- ) actually make a difference?

For what I have seen the Geforce gtx680 has even less fp64 performance than the gtx580 (actually 1/24 compared to its own fp32 perf). NV appearently made this to defend their super expensive Quadro brand for making the user buy these instead of the much cheaper, gaming oriented Geforce series cards …

I have the 2gb versions of the 680. Based on experience If you are gaming just at 2560x1600 then it's fine for even the most demanding games, but I don't know if it just happens the same with work apps

well, it seems that whenever I try to listen to midi via MPU401 everything becomes extremely choppy (with or without the daughterboard plugged in). I'm using 2048 drivers and an Athlon 2500 mobile @2.4ghz plus an Abit AN7 with 2gigs of ram. WIN98se of course 😀
