Yeah I hate flash. I'm using jQuery + HTML5 for all my stuff. The website should work on any resolution and mobiles too! 😀

The main issue was time. Although I did just release an update a few days ago that supports basic graphing of results. Although there is still a lot more work to go. The other issue is compiling all the various brands/models/makes of items. You want to try and match these in the database correctly …

I love the Voodoo 4, really good image quality. But yes the Geforce 2 MX was a better purchase back in the day.

If I remember correctly there is a mod to make the card work at 1.5volts. I've never tried it myself. I have a few of these EvilKing cards. Sorry I cannot find anymore info about the mod at the moment but I will keep looking.

Yeah not sure why. Rage 128 was used in Dell P4s a lot. I don't think the output quality is as good, but 32bit performance doesn't drop as much as the TNT2. Been a while, I might not be correct about that.

Rage 128 Pro should be TNT2 speed I think, pretty fast, drivers are average I believe. G400 I think is a bit faster than the TNT2, was a good card. Voodoo 4 is similar performance to TNT2/Voodoo3 😁 What about a Savage 2000?

I've tested the TNT2 M64 a bunch before and your results look inline with what I've seen for Quake 3. TNT2 Ultra looks okay too. http://www.vogonswiki.com/index.php/3dfx_Benchmarks (down the bottom).

Hah I had that same case (different colour) with my Duron 800. It was the worst for heat due to the PSU sitting over the CPU fan!

I love finding old hardware and getting it working. No more old hardware is ever getting made, so fixing it up and making it work feels worthwhile. Installing Dosbox is easy and anyone can do it, it doesn't restore something that will become a limited resource in future.

Yes everyone railed on the Voodoo 3 for not supporting 32bit colour, but really it wasn't that important until games like Quake 3. Also the TNT2s really dropped down in speed with 32bit colour so it was a bit pointless anyway. I'm pretty sure Voodoo 3 16bit looks better than TNT2 16bit as well. The …
