Not really a dumpster find, but I did rediscover a few oldskool processors I had packed away in some boxes I haven't looked at for a long time. A couple Pentium 1s and a 486-DX2, as well as a Slot-1 P2 350mhz.

Good it came with the brackets, many second hand slot motherboards are stripped of all retention mechanisms. Are the Xeons getting hot? I've never seen them sold boxed with fans, but I guess you are expectoed to provide proper airflow in the chassis to cool them. What OS are you running on it? …

It's unfortunate Intel's reference 440GX board wasn't setup similarly to the Asus board. Looks like cooling would be a bit better with the extra space between each Xeon. My current dual 550s on the Intel board run quite hot, but then again, they haven't seen fresh thermal paste in probably a decade. …
