The increased resolution is great for many games with that CPU. Also it is a bit more quicker than the Voodoo 1 in certain games. Descent with 3DFX patch comes to mind.

I am not really using it for games or other the software. It is more a curiosity that makes the computer a bit more special 😉 The Sony SCSI drive is much quicker in both access time and transfer speed.

Radeon cards give more value for money. Also now they include two bundled games for free (Bioshock: Infinite and/or Tomb Raider/Crysis 3)

There are hard 32GB hard drive limits, anyone found a way around those? for 3.: both the CT1770 and the CT2230 have the hanging note bug , so keeping the AWE and getting a nice external synth for it may be better :) with a 386 maybe a MT-32 or using the two cards that you have simultaneously, with the SB16's DB for music and the AWE for sound effects should work out …

Doesn't matter much tbh. I myself use PCI if I have an available PCI slot, else I use ISA. PCI is a bit quicker with 100 mbit.

Please beaware that using two controllers, both with BIOS'es might result in that one of the cards won't be recognized by the motherboard properly.
