At least it is reassuring that it is not just me but also confirmed by the "higher powers" 😀 Imgmount won't let me mount the image (I guess you meant that or does mount also support images?). Oh well, as always it's not very important and I'll just have to live with it 😀

I'd also say if you go for 64bit use the AMD. AFAIK it is actually better than the Intel one. But yeah, right now it is a waste of money.

As in another thread mentioned I got WfW 3.11 to work with latest Dosbox sources. I got one problem though, if I mount my floppy drive before starting Windows the a:\ drive is not selectable inside of Windows (I can execute stuff on floppy by directly entering the path instead of browsing to the …

Finally found why my build was not working correctly. As I thought back then, I didn't have the correct DirectX-headers and thus dosbox compiled but without DirectDraw support 😀 Today I had time to resetup my mingw/msys environment and do a correct build.

AFAIR Vlad doesn't see VDMS not as important anymore since Dosbox does most of the things way better than VDMS ever could (and that on Win9x as well). A nice little website on his SF webspace wouldn't hurt though...

ok, seems I do something wrong when compiling Dosbox. With the inofficial Dosbox-CVS-binaries mouse works. fine.

VDMS does not work with Crusader games, btw. The only way to run Crusader on Windows is to use either Dosbox, Virtual PC or VMWare
