I had it on 1.775v, but It was just for benchmarking, it likely will be stable at a lower voltage than that. Hopefully nforce 2 motherboards have a wider range of multipliers, someone else here will know for sure

The system worked just fine with another wifi pci board, and also with an ethernet board, but not with this pci wifi board, idk if a bad capacitor would not work just with a specific board I would check the capacitors anyway. You might also be lucky and have got a board that had good quality …

Abit KT7's are notorious for Bulging capacitors. I have replaced all of them on mine. If they are bulged on Your motherboard then that will almost certainly be the cause of Your problems. Any bios performance setting would add to instability.

Thought I had better update this before I go back to using my original Username here. This worked SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM C:\DOS /E:512 /P The extra C:\DOS after COMMAND.COM stops the floppy from being accessed after boot has finished.

I'm amazed You can install Win98 on that. First of all I would suggest going into the bios and turning off anything that You are not using, com ports, parallel port, onboard sound, Network, etc. The problem with Win98 on a more modern motherboard is the lack of IRQ's vs Winxp, 15 against 23 or 24. …

I now have a Athlon XP-M Barton 2400+ running in my KT7-RAID. It defaulted to the lower multiplier set of 5 - 12.5, so I performed the Socket pinmod to enable the 5th bit for 13 - 24 multipliers. Motherboard recognises the chip properly with this bios.

I should at least be able to sort this out with an Administrator, but the Forum offers no such information that I can find. So unless I can get an Administrator to help there isn't a damn thing I can do.

Hi. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but How do You change Your username here? When I go into Account settings it specifically states that If I enter my password then I can change my username, amongst other things. The username box is not editable, at least not for me anyway.
