I wonder what the absolute slowest acceptable CPU for DVD playback is though? I would think either the fastest Pentium MMXs or the Slowest Pentium IIs would be minimum. Definitely not a P1 MMX. You can "play" a movie on slow PIIs but from what I remember perfect playback without small pauses here …

Toss that PoS Trident. It's literally useless. It gets 5FPS in DOOM. It will bottleneck a 386 lol Not the 8900 D though. I thought most 286 machines lacked 16-bit ISA slots? I don't have a clue about SVN, but since git was mentioned, yes it's super-super easy to create diff files/patches with git. Easy as a 3-word command with the output redirected to a file. I used to hate git but hey, I got old and sane 😀
