Re: Ancient DOS Games Webshow

^^^ as an addition to the above, the 1997 update of the game makes it less speed-sensitive and therefore runs fine on, for example, a 386DX or Dosbox 0.74 default 3000 cycles. This version doesn't have the POPSPEED executable. Quoting the added paragraph of this release found on the LBA2 disc: ***** …

Re: Ancient DOS Games Webshow

Why are you showing the game on a VGA? Or is this the flash version? This is what the game looks like in real CGA (or machine=cga in DosBox) Filename popcorn_000.png File size 5.03 KiB Views 1274 views Filename popcorn_003.png File size 3.35 KiB Views 1274 views

Re: Need to find replacement activity LED's

in Milliways
On eBay i can only find those that cone with power switch and reset, and the LED's are round. If shape is not a problem you can always get those and cut the headers/switches they come with. They are dirt cheap anyway, so may be you could give them a try. You can always help them with some glue for …

Re: 1366x768 with height adjustment

in Marvin \ Video

Re: Can't boot from CD on a Pentium III PC

Having nothing connected, there should be a "Booting from CDROM..." + a "Failure" there when you get the picture back, before the error. I'd focus in BIOS settings and nothing else, since you're certain that this drive reads discs on this specific machine. I'm not even discussing trying any of the …

Re: Can't boot from CD on a Pentium III PC

The drive spins and works fine when I use it in the operative system on that P3 PC, it just doesn't let me boot from the CD-ROM drive for some reason, it just skips it and tries floppy and hardisk even if I put it on the first priority in the boot order in the BIOS. Do you see the "Booting from …
