I'm not set up to test this right now, so this is completely blind, but... Assuming your .scr file is 1634304 bytes, open it in a hex editor, go to offset 0x4827 and change it from 0x74 to 0xeb. That should ignore the result of the OS check at least. Other thing may still be broken later on, no …

I did some further testing and it even works on Windows 98SE and Windows 2000!

I like this screen saver, but it has a check for Windows XP will not run on new versions of Windows such as Windows XP x64. Is there any known patch to make it work on newer OSes?
