I replaced the Socket 2 motherboard I was using with a Lucky Star LS486E Rev C1 Socket 3 motherboard with 256K cache. The Pentium Overdrive just under performed on the Socket 2 motherboard. I would try to run it at 112 MHz bus and drop the multiplier down to keep the CPU clock around 500. That chip is really bottlenecked by RAM and motherboard cache. I already tried that, but I was using PC100 memory and had stability issues. I will see if I can dig up some PC133 memory and try it …
