There were 2 reserved jumper settings in the manual. Trying both got me 180Mhz and 150Mhz, so there appears to be no 3.5 or higher jumper setting on this board.

I got my Pentium 233Mhz MMX processor today and installed it, so far it's working at 200Mhz. I still will have to run it for awhile to see how it holds up over time, but it does look promising.

I am currently putting together a retro build with this motherboard. I have seen in other threads that it is possible to use a Pentium MMX CPU. Is there a jumper configuration for a 3.5x multiplier to get 233Mhz? Everything I can find only mentions 3x with a 200Mhz CPU clock speed.

I got a Cirrus Logic 5440 Card with 1MB of RAM, that I'm using on my Windows 95 machine. I can use 24-bit color, but only in 640x480. When setting the res to 800x600 it drops to 16-bit color. I though that upgrading to 2MB will help, but it didn't. What am I missing? is this card just not capable …

All 3 systems were using a K6-III+ clocked at 600 Mhz, so the cache on the motherboard would not have really affected the results. I disabled onboard VGA on the PC Chips board by selecting the PCI card as the primary video in the BIOS and disabling it the Windows 98 SE Device Manager.

I swapped the K6-III+ from my PC Chips M599LMR motherboard and it clocks to 600 Mhz with no problem. It was a marginal CPU after all. Glad I took the time to figure it out:)
